HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- Volunteer in the local community at least once a month with my children. This will be my most challenging resolution because my boys are 3, 3, and 1. I'm excited to see what opportunities our area offers for younger kids to lend a helping hand.
- Lose those last stubborn 10 lbs. that I've yet to shake from the twins pregnancy. I think this was my resolution in 2006, 2007, and 2008... granted I did have another baby in 2007 but the 10 lbs. is still lingering.
- Find one new way each month to reduce, reuse, or recycle. We're only talking about 12 new ways so this should be in the bag. Considering I'm an eco-blogger, total mortification will occur if this resolution gets broken.
I'll update along my journey in 2009 with what I've done each month to stick to my resolutions. Maybe I'll stumble across some new cool thing to share with you in January!
What are your resolutions for the New Year? Do you have any past resolutions you're proud of sticking to?
p.s. I should add another- blogging for you regularly!! Now that the holidays have passed you can expect to hear more from me! :)

I heart every single one of those resolutions, and hope your blog gives me the encouragement to follow through on mine. I just added your list to my current resolutions!
I love your resolutions, especially the one about volunteering. Let us know what you learn. There is a shop here called the Agape Shop that is part of 10,000 Villages. Selling hand made goods from foreign countries. They have a thrift shop upstairs and have told me that I can bring my girls to volunteer with me. Sorting at your local goodwill or thrift shop may be an option for you. You can wear your little one and put the older boys to a task.
I am thinking I will try it in short spurts to begin with to see how it goes.
That sounds like a great opportunity Shalene. Let us know how it goes! I love everything about 10,000 villages! :)
