Product Review: The Flip Mino

GiveThemRoots was given the opportunity to review a Flip Mino digital video camera and to use for it Vlogging (video blogging- yay!). I am so excited about this product. Here's a few features that makes my heart do flips for the Flip Mino.

  • Ultra slim size- fits perfectly in my back pocket.
  • Cordless- there are no cords for this bad boy. The USB plug "flips" out of the top of the camera. From the USB you can upload your videos and charge your camera. There's no need for chargers, and USB cables for downloading.
  • Digital media- no tapes, disks, or memory cards. Download up to a solid hour of constant video all from the internal memory
  • Light weight
  • Photo capability; You can create still shots from any frame of your video. This gives you endless photo ops!
  • Built in programs

This cute little digital video camera has so many possibilities for the nature loving family. How many times have you been hiking and stumbled upon something you wanted a picture or video of? Cameras, especially traditional video cameras, weigh a lot and they take up a lot of space in your backpack. Not the Flip Mino! Slide that little guy in your pocket and hike until your heart's content. The Flip Mino is less than 2" wide, less than 4" long and barely over 1/2" in depth!

Overall: GiveThemRoots loves The Flip Mino! The picture quality is amazing. It's very user friendly. Flip cameras are very affordable in comparison to other digital video cameras. Built-in internal lithium battery charges super fast. This is a fantastic video camera!!! Check it out at http://www.theflip.com/
