We don't watch a ton of prime time television but tonight was the night for TV. Between a crazy episode of the Bachelor to the evening news reporting "renaming vegetables" it was an entertaining evening. So, a scientific study showed that when 186 four year olds were given carrots renamed "xray vision carrots" they ate nearly twice as many carrots as the day before when they were just plain, old, boring carrots.I don't know which is more amazing about this; that some scientists did a study on what every parent in the world already knows OR that they are actually getting credit for a "brilliant" study that might be implemented in schools.
The best part of our local news was when the sports anchor says "Moral of the story; kids are dumb". WOW! Now our 4 year olds are dumb for using their imagination! Enough TV for tonight folks, thank you for reminding me why I read the news and don't watch it.

Here in our house we pretend to be giants eating trees (broccoli)? Do you have a fun name for a certain food at your house?
