Fair Tradin' Monkeys?

Meet Mel, the most adorable monkey (other my little monkey). Mel traveled all the way from Peru to live with Hudson, who is without a doubt, 100% in love with Mel. The first week we had Mel, Hudson was dragging him all over the house. Mel sleeps with Hudson every night and Mel is the first thing he grabs in the morning. After all, who can blame the kid? With a face like Mel the monkey's, he's hard not to love and kiss all over.

Mel is one of the many Jooble friends waiting to be snuggled and loved at http://www.fairindigo.com/ . Heard of it? Fair Indigo is an online company that sells fair trade products. I'm sure I've mentioned fair trade before but for the new comers, fair trade businesses purchase merchandise (off all types) from local residents of developing countries at FAIR and equal prices for their product and labor rather than minimum wages like free trading does, there are no sweat shops in fair trade markets! Fair Trade is a movement that is slowly working it's way into our country and hopefully will balance and force the United States "free trade" into different practices. If nothing else fair trade gives hope, and that's a good place to start.

So back to the Joobles . Joobles are the softest, sweetest little stuffed critters you can buy for your children. They are also the healthiest you can buy for your little one and the earth! They are knitted from 100% organic cotton and dyed using earth friendly dyes. Joobles are even stuffed with organic cotton. Fair Indigo also offers matching accessories, sweaters, mittens, hats, and more! I just love, love, love Joobles!

Take a peek at the whole Jooble line up!! Which one steals your heart?

Thank you for explaining “Fair Trade” in layman’s terms and for promoting the importance of it. We've brought an eco-certified line of sports balls to market in North America that are certified Fair Trade. Footballs, basketballs, soccer balls and more are available, so stop by our blog at www.fairtradesports.com if you care to learn more. Thanks!
