New Native Inc.

I had a great article ready to go about New Native's pouch style carriers. Then I deleted it. Not because it's not a great product but because New Native's pouch carrier earned the "+" after their "A" on Wednesday!! Here's the story:

I took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese for a birthday party. We usually avoid that place like the Bubonic plague. After all, it is practically wall to wall germs. Any guesses on what happened? Yes- all of my boys ended up vomiting two days later! The twins needed Mommy's attention and the baby was screaming every time I put him down. I attempted many different carriers, to be specific every carrier we've talked about this week. The poor babe just wasn't having any part of it. He wanted to be held, physically by my arms not a carrier. Then, I put the New Native organic pouch carrier on. TA DA! Fast asleep in the cradle position.

Did you read that? Fast asleep in the CRADLE position at 15 months old and 21 lbs.! I was able to sit down, with my little guy cradled in the sling and the twins snuggled close under my arms. Finally, my house was quiet and each child was getting the comfort they needed from Mommy.

That's not the only thing we love about New Native carriers though!

  • Lots of organic cotton fabric choices AND they are adorable!
  • The built-in curve at the bottom of the carrier holds the baby in a more comfortable position, and provides more side support.
  • This same curve leaves room to put a towel in the carrier to position smaller babies higher, which just happens to be the number one reason babies don't like slings...they can't see out!
  • New Native baby carriers come in several sizes. This reduces the extra bulk and weight of fabric that other carriers have to make them suitable for most sizes. (IE. Ring Slings, soft pack carriers)
  • New Native carriers can be used with newborns up to 35 lbs. and in 5 different positions.
  • Tall fabric sides on the carrier allow for easy and discreet nursing, especially if you position the carrier and baby on your side, in a football nursing hold.
  • Two carriers can be easily worn to accommodate twins! (Wish I would've known about these bad boys when my twins were babies.)
  • They offer a Factory Seconds program, so if you can't afford a brand new one you can still benefit from everything New Native has to offer.
  • New Native Inc. also offers a Friends' of Bonding program for low income families! LOVE that!

I really HEART this company and this carrier, especially after our series of unfortunate events.

What do you think Moms & Dads? Have you tried the New Native baby carrier?
