Cleaning House: FlyLady Style.

I haven't forgotten you, and I haven't stopped my spring cleaning either. In fact, I've been cleaning even more. After our first play date since the birth of my 3 month old, all of my kids got RSV (respiratory syncytial virus, if you are unfamiliar with this, I encourage you to check it out. It can be life threatening for young infants.), which then caused Bronchiolitis (not the same as bronchitis) in the baby. He had serious breathing problems that required multiple pediatrician visits and lots of hospital talk. Thankfully, everyone is on the mend now--- but my house was seriously neglected.
I wanted to share an awesome website with you guys, if you haven't already found it. http://www.flylady.net/ FlyLady is basically your cleaning fairy godmother and a great way to start your spring cleaning. FlyLady can help you organize, clean, and maintain a presentable home with super easy (and dare I say, FUN) ways. Just be sure to use non-chemical versions of the cleaners she suggests. Navigate around the site, check out how to get started and have fun with that sparkling clean sink.

Be sure to check out the site index, particularly the Flying with Preschoolers and Flying with Babies section. Fantastic tips for little helpers or "ride alongs"a.k.a. the baby in the carrier or sling.

p.s. best of all, it's FREE!

That's terrible! Did you end up having to use the aspirator?

I love it, Missy! I hope you do too.

Lori- We got sent home with steriod nebulizer breathing treatments to open the airways. Nothing like a 3 month old with a fish mask over his face. :(

I have been attempt to FLY for a year now, maybe this is the kick in the pants I need to start "shining my sink" again. I love that "you are never behind." Thanks!

I hope you see your gorgeous smile in your sink tomorrow morning, Erin. Good luck with your new attempt!
