The contest is open to children between the ages of 4-17 years of age. Our 4.5 year old twins are entering the contest with Double Trouble Mexican Cookies, a twin-altered family favorite recipe.
Judging is based on a point system, the more of the sponsor products your child uses the greater the chance of winning. The sponsors are Wholesome Sweeteners, Neilsen-Massey Vanillas, Endangered Species Chocolate (which is divine), and Annie Chuns. Now, how you could incorporate Asian fair with chocolate, sweeteners, & vanilla is a mystery to me but, I bet someone does it! Points are also earned from the recipe's taste, recipe's originality and on-air personality.
