Make Your Own Baby Food! (giveaway)

When the twins began smearing peaches and green peas in their blond locks, I was peeling, cubing, steaming, mashing, and pureeing them all by hand. The number of bowls, pots, and measuring cups that I had in the sink at the end was laughable. When Hudson came along, I began using the Munchkins baby food processor. It saved a little time but not much. I quickly tossed that to the side and opted for my humongous Cuisinart food processor. But, I still had to peel, cube, and steam the ingredients on the stove top. Not anymore! Thanks to the {drum roll, please} ...

If you didn't hear singing angels when I said the name of this product then you have never tried a Babycook! This compact cutie does all of the work for you in 15 minutes or less with minimal cleanup. The bowl and basket are even dishwasher safe! The Babycook can be whatever you want it to be... a steamer, a blender, a defroster, or a warmer. The Babycook is BPA-free and is now available in three colors Latte & Mint (seen below), Sorbet or Original (green).
In our house we have a new slogan for the Babycook "So simple your hubby can do it." and to prove that it's really that easy, check out this video of my hubby making a batch of organic pears. Ryan will show you step by step how to make stage 1 pears and he will prepare them to be frozen.
Step 1: COOK

STEP 2: PUREE

Easy, right? Put your hubby to work.

Need recipes? The cookbook in the background is Beaba's Babycook Cookbook: 85 Recipes by Chef Dad. This is one of the best baby food cookbooks I've come across. It's packed with fabulous recipes, like stage 1 avocados and red lettuce milk! Who would've thought? And plenty of great recipes that the entire family will love.

You don't think I'd leave you wondering about those trays, do you? Meet the Fresh Baby's So Easy storage trays. The So Easy trays are not your normal ice cube tray, my friends!
  • Safely freeze baby food and breastmilk in 1 ounce portions. Just thaw the portion you need and save the rest.
  • So Easy trays are BPA-free, Phthalate-free, and PVC-free.
  • Each tray can hold 12 individual one ounce servings.
  • The spill-proof lids keep your baby's food safe from freezer burn and odors.
  • The So Easy tray lids also allow stacking, saving freezer space.

Best of all Fresh Baby makes them in the USA, which helps reduce the company's carbon footprint!

I have to admit, I've seen these trays before and I thought "Why are these any different than regular ice cube trays?"... well, it's all the reasons I told you above! The biggest difference is the tray lid. You can buy other trays with lids but not like these, the design creates a much tighter seal than anything I've ever seen! They really are fabulous! :)

And today, thanks to Fresh Baby, you can win a set! This giveaway ends on Sunday May 16th!! So hurry!!!
