The Perfect Wooden Animal

Over the past almost six years of our twin boys lives we have collected several brands of plastic animals from baby chickens to rhinos and one day while cleaning up with my boys, I realized that I have HAD it with plastic junk toys! The only problem, it is almost impossible to find wooden animals that aren't going to break the bank! I don't mean cutout animals but fun, free-standing animals. We have a wooden Noah's ark set with a plethora of animal duos and yes, it's cute but the animals remind me more something that should be in a shape sorter than in my 3 year old's hand for creative play.
