We may laugh at the cell phone/texting commercial "IDK my BFF Jill." but in the cloth diapering world, texting is a breeze! Here's a list of the most common abbreviations for cloth diapering and what they mean. These will help you survive any cloth diaper message boards.
Referring to types of diapers:
AIO - All in One diaper
AI2 - All in Two diaper (ie. pocket diaper)
CD - cloth diaper
CPF- Chinese prefold
DSQ - Diaper service quality
IPF- Indian prefold
PUL - polyurethane laminate, a material used to make diapers waterproof
WAHM- work-at-home mom (referring to handmade diaper gear)
Brands of diapers often abbreviated:
BG - bumGenius
FB- Fuzzi Bunz
HH - Happy Heiny's
MOE- Mother of Eden (mainly used for referring to inserts)
SEZ - Snap E-Z
SB- Swaddlebees
Vimse- Imse Vimse
