Easy Baked Pita Chip Recipe

I ♥ hummus with pita chips. During my last grocery store excursion I became so annoyed with pita chip prices. Pita chips come in tiny bags, there's a minimal selection, and if you're lucky, they are about $4 a bag. I stood there staring at the bags and thought, "Forget that. I can make these!" - and I did.

Give Them Roots' Sea Salt Pita Chips

What You Need:
- 4 Pitas
- 4 tbsp Olive Oil
- Sea Salt
- Fresh Ground Black Pepper

What To Do:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Cut each pita into 8 triangles. A pizza cutter is the bee's knees for this step.
3. Lightly brush each triangle with olive oil.
4. Sprinkle with sea salt and pepper.
5. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

I also ♥ anything sweet. Try this recipe to satisfy a sweet tooth. They are great served with ice cream. Or, for a healthy alternative, dipped in yogurt!

Give Them Roots' Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips

What You Need:
- 4 Pitas
- 4 tbsp Water
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- 4 tbsp Sugar

What To Do:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Cut each pita into 8 triangles.
3. Mix 4 tbsp of sugar with 1 tbsp of cinnamon in a small bowl.
4. Brush each triangle with water.
5. Sprinkle cinnamon & sugar mixture over chips.
6. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

Enjoy the recipe and the savings!
