I adore http://www.etsy.com/ , you can find almost anything your heart desires on that site. The best part: instead of being stamped “Made In China”, it's made with love, by hand, and usually in someone's home! I always feel better supporting small artists and love the unique items that I find! That being said, Oprah's not the only one with a Favorite Things list!
GiveThemRoots' top 3 handmade stocking stuffers under $15:
1. Hand Knit Bear Hat: What's not to love? The photo above is my almost one year old sporting his very own set of bear ears from Cloo Gifts! Every time we take our little bear out in his hat, we are flooded with compliments and questions of where to buy one. Soft, sweet, and affordable ($11-$15)! Visit Cloo Gifts at www.etsy.com/shop/cloogifts to order your own little boo bear's hat!

2. Crayon Roll: Have you ever been to a restaurant with your child when the host plops down a cup full of previously loved (or chewed, licked and dipped) crayons for your child to draw? I have. And I've also had a child chew, lick or dip {gag} said crayons so I know it happens. I Guess Sew to the rescue! I love the fun, modern fabrics that are used to make I Guess Sew's crayon rolls ($10). They hold 16 crayons and roll up easily to fit inside a purse, diaper bag or book bag! If you buy now, I Guess Sew is throwing in a box of Crayola crayons with your order. You can see all of the patterns and other fabulous creations at www.etsy.com/shop/iguesssew

3. Stuffed Owl: This little guy would be great for pretend play, snuggling or finishing touches to a nursery! And at 5”x4” Mr. Owl ($14) is the perfect size to tuck into the top of a stocking! Rose Cottage Boutique uses adorable fabrics and tiny details like the button eyes to truly make these owls one of a kind! Don't worry Mom, there's a pink owl for the little ladies too! I can't wait to get my hands on an Owl for my cuties. Find more adorable gifts at Rose Cottage Boutique at www.etsy.com/shop/rosecottageboutique .

Holy cute hat! Looks great on your babe, too.
That etsy shop not only has great hats, but the photos are outstanding. Made me want to buy them all! Thanks for sharing, and for the giveaway.

I haven't tried it yet but it looks pretty easy - will try to make a few little baby Christmas gifts with it! :-)
Thank you so much for sharing the free pattern link for the owls! I think I'll give it a try too!
